Join Latino Outdoors on a neighborhood walk or Together4Brothers on a neighborhood bike ride to discuss the importance of outdoor spaces for BIPOC/low-income communities and the variety of ways do that! The activities will end at El Chante where participants can join NMPBS for a special screening of ITVS' Bike Vessel followed by an interactive conversation on what ABQ communities are doing to expand access to outdoor activities for all of us.
Bike Vessel follows filmmaker Eric D. Seals and his father as they embark on a 350-mile, four-day cycling journey from St. Louis to Chicago—an ambitious tribute to his father’s recovery from three open-heart surgeries. Through their ride, they strengthen their bond, confront personal limits, and reimagine what health can look like. Register for Bike Vessel Screening HERE.
Dinner from Mayahuel’s Catering will be provided!
